Street Racing

Street racing is a form of auto racing that takes place on public roads, either during normal traffic or during empty hours of traffic, often within the industrial areas of cities. It is illegal, as such driving is prohibited by many traffic regulations.

Here in Curacao people love to race and putting "FEVER" (360 donuts) on the streets at night or when there is an activity in the streets.Most of these illegal events occour at night on Nieuwe Haven(New Harbor). Where there is a long straight way almost a 1/4 mile long.

Most of the cars are Honda's and Toyota's but there are also the big boys like the Nissan Skyline, Toyota Supra, Subaru WRX and Mazda RX-7.

After the races everybody goes to Salinja, where there is a lot of food trucks that sell food till late night. And here is where the "Fever" goes down or you can enjoy the nice show cars driving around.Most people like to hang out here because it is the place to be.
